This Cookie Policy explains how Peritus Digital uses cookies and similar technologies on peritusdigital.com.au. For information about how we handle your personal information more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and provide information to website owners about how their site is being used. Cookies do not typically identify you personally — they identify your browser or device.
Similar technologies include local storage (used for things like remembering your cookie preference) and web beacons. This policy covers all of these where relevant.

They include session-level cookies used by our hosting infrastructure and thepd_consent key we store in your browser's local storage to remember your cookie consent choice. No personal data is collected by these.
Analytics — Google Analytics 4 & Google Tag Manager
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), loaded via Google Tag Manager (GTM), to understand how visitors find and use this site. This helps us identify which pages and tools are most useful and where we can improve.
What this collects:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Referring website or search term that brought you here
- Browser type, operating system, and approximate geographic location (city / region level)
- Interactions such as form submissions and tool usage events
This data is pseudonymous — your IP address is anonymised by Google before storage and we do not pass any data that directly identifies you (such as name or email) to Google Analytics. GA4 sets the following first-party cookies:
_ga,_ga_<container>— distinguish users and sessions (up to 2 years)_gid— distinguish users (24 hours)_gat— throttle request rate (1 minute)
Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default (as configured in our GA4 property). Google may also process this data in accordance with its own policies.
